Dr. Shivraj Padiyar U is a highly accomplished Rheumatologist and Immunologist with over 10 years of experience in diagnosing and managing complex autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Currently serving as Professor in the Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore, he has extensive expertise in arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, and other connective tissue disorders. A gold medalist throughout his academic career, Dr. Padiyar has received numerous honors, including the TMA Pai Gold Medal for Best Outgoing MBBS Student and University Gold Medals in both MD Medicine and DM Rheumatology. He has authored over 30 publications in reputed national and international journals and received prestigious APLR and IRA Research Grants. His clinical focus includes comprehensive management of autoimmune diseases with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
